Hi! My name is Bianca and I am an aspiring documentary filmmaker.
I am currently studying Ethnology and Audiovisual Publishing at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz. I have participated in the production of various video formats for In The Mirror Films Barcelona, ZDF German TV, CampusTV Mainz and a number of independent student projects.

This short documentary tells the story of the Colombian feminist collective Tormenta Violeta in the region of Cauca. The members are fighting for the rights of women, indigenous peopl, Black people and the LGBTQ+ community through the medium of music.

Grevy’s zebras can only be found in a few regions of Ethiopia and Kenya. Their ears are particularly large and fluffy, the stripes are narrow and their belly is just plain white. But there are only about 3000 animals of their kind left. The “Grevy’s Zebra Trust” supports the animals in their fight against extinction.
Chief Silvia
Silvia is the chief of the Maasai village Morijo in the South of Kenya. As one of few female chiefs, she is a trailblazer in fighting against child marriage and FGM, protecting and advancing children’s rights, and making sure every child has an access to education.
